I bought the scanner from Amazon but it was an Epson refurbished scanner which was a great deal. So far, I would buy it again and recommend it to others.įantastic Scanner I needed a second scanner at my apartment close to where I work. I just scanned everything first, then went into that file, renamed the files, and moved them where I wanted them saved. This one has you choose one specific file they get saved to, and then you have to go into that file and move it afterwards. The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars, instead of 5, is that the ScanSnap would open my Finder window each time I scanned something to allow me to choose where to save the file. I was SO impressed with how easily it feeds the paper through, even folded paper (if you have it on that setting.) I used to always run into issues with the ScanSnap. It arrived in good time and I set it up easily. When I started looking, I started with Costco as I trust them explicitly and figured if I hated the scanner I could take it back to Costco, no questions asked. I was a bit miffed with Fujitsu as our scanners still worked well otherwise. But Fujitsu stopped supporting updates for it and it was no longer compatible with our apple software.

So far, so good! I was nervous about buying this scanner as I was used to our ScanSnap that we'd had for years.
